Chapter 373: Role Reversal

It was utter chaos in that moment.

Both Sesshoumaru and Kazuya competed with each other to see who would rip out the spider’s throat first. So far, the silver-haired daiyoukai was winning as his fingers just barely grabbed a hold of Naraku’s matted locks.

“Oh my god, Naraku…” Kagome spoke up amidst the ruckus. “Can’t you just shut up for once?”

Surprise flitted onto his face, the shadows from the flickering candles warping his features as she neared him.

He chuckled mockingly, bloodied teeth and all. “Trying to save me, Kagome-chan? I thought you were always the damsel.”

“People change.”
