Chapter 369: Killing Him Softly

“Is this the part where you kill me now?” His tone was empty and full of dark humor. There was a sliver of hopeful anticipation underneath and a semblance of acceptance on the tip of his tongue. Naraku smiled widely, his lips stretching far and painfully so, and kept his eyes on his captors though he couldn’t see them. Satomi hadn’t cared to remove his blindfold; she relished his vulnerability.

His ripped haori had fallen open sometime during the trek up the stairs, revealing pale skin that was littered with old scars; one more jagged and larger than the others.
