Chapter 368: The Poor Man

Naraku was calm as he stood before the inu matriarch, blindfolded and mouth gagged with a strip of cloth torn from his own haori. In the dimly lit room, which Kagome was told that it was called the “extraction hall,” his overall appearance surprised her.

While she knew he had been taken prisoner on Satomi’s property, she had expected him to have endured better than the result of what she was currently seeing. Not to say that he had spent the last couple of nights in luxury, that is.

He was quite thin… and awfully dirty.

She almost pitied him.
