Chapter 366: Funeral March

It was cold.

Light escaped the complete isolation of the lower dungeon, as the Shikon Miko and her two escorts made their way to the only cell of the floor. Kagome would be lying to herself if she said she wasn’t even a little afraid. The darkness had taken her once before; there was always the possibility of it happening again.

“How nice of you to come visit me, Kagome-chan.”

His voice washed over her like a wave of a million cockroaches. Some people had the strangest fears; hers happened to be bugs. And it was mostly his fault.

“…Naraku.”
