Chapter 364: Now or Never

“How soon can we do this thing?”

“If your stomach is up to it,” Satomi murmured, “now would be the time.”

Kagome fiddled with her obi, earning a glare from her alpha. She frowned back at him as she picked at the silver koi fish dancing along her sleeves. “Is it too late to get some herbs from my friend’s farm? Jinenji-san helped us with Naraku’s shouki before.”

“Mitsuo-kun’s son?”

Kagome perked up, eyes bright. “That’s his name? You knew his father?”

Satomi’s smiled. “Perhaps. That horse never really enjoyed the feeling of blood on his hands. He was soft.”
