Chapter 360: Cuckoo’s Nest

“Do I even want to know what you two were doing last night?”

Kagome pointedly kept her gaze down on her bowl of miso soup as she tried to ignore Satomi’s stare. The back of the miko’s hair was a mess, and she knew it.

“Um… Probably not, Satomi-sama.”

Sesshoumaru looked as immaculate as ever and would have escaped his mother’s line of questioning if it hadn’t been for the rumpled sleeves of his yukata. But he wasn’t inclined to answer either.

Embarrassed, Kagome eyed the tamagoyaki on the table and blurted, “I didn’t know you had chickens here, Satomi-sama!”
