Chapter 358: Old Habits Die Hard
Kagome refused to grin like an idiot when Sesshoumaru finally sighed and sank onto her, giving up the argument. She was glad he was able to see reason before their latest disagreement had escalated into something worse.
Welcoming him back into her embrace, she said, “We always seem to be fighting, huh?” Her words were light, pleasant.
“It is only because you keep insisting on being difficult.”
“It’s also because you worry too much,” she quipped.
“I do not.”
A smile broke out on her lips. “Are you gonna be childish about it, young pup?”
“Kagome…”
“Well, you started it.”
