Chapter 357: …One Step Back

“Submit.”

“No.” The woman stubbornly turned her head away, ignoring the man that had her beneath him. Her arms were crossed over her chest as he caged her with his body. “Not unless you get rid of your self-pity.”

Sesshoumaru snarled, fangs snapping twice near her face. To her credit, she didn’t react to his frustration. “This one holds no such feelings for himself. Banish that ridiculous thought from your mind.”

“You can get mad at me all you want, but I’m still right. Do you know who hides from the truth? A coward. And you, Sesshoumaru-sama, are no coward.”
