Chapter 356: Two Steps Forward…
Kagome cupped her companion’s cheek. Though he didn’t say it, she knew he regretted being away for so long. His pride kept him from meeting her eyes. “You don’t have to apologize, Sesshoumaru-sama. You didn’t know.”
“It is still inexcusable.”
“But why?”
“I made a vow to protect you, and I– This one has failed.”
The priestess glared. “Now you wait a minute, mister! You are not going to keep me at a distance again. Especially not after all the manhandling and doggie kisses you’ve been giving me lately. You’re not allowed to take them back. I won’t forgive you!”
