Chapter 353: Simmer

“So, you’re really back?” Kagome asked, threading her fingers through Sesshoumaru’s sleek hair. His face rested at the junction where her shoulder met her neck. His soft breaths warmed her body and spread a tingle all the way down to her toes. He half lay on top of her–it was a comfortable weight she decided–along with his pelt that covered them both.

The large male moved his leg so it was further entangled with hers. Kagome swallowed nervously. They were practically connected at the hips!

“Shall I prove it to you again?” he murmured.

“Um…”

“Miko.”

“Yes?”

“…Relax.”
