Chapter 348: Phantom

Sesshoumaru was doing that motorboat purring again.

She felt it more than she heard it, which was strange since she believed the Western Lord wasn’t really there. The soothing noise vibrated along her torso, where their chests remained pressed together. Strangely enough, it wasn’t uncomfortable as they lay sandwiched between his mokomoko. But of course, that could’ve been because her subconscious had made everything up, and on some degree, she had accepted his absence in real life.

She was sad again.

Her alpha had been gone for a little over two months. She wondered every day when he would return.
