Chapter 347: Exception to the Rule

The scent of her tears became almost unbearable as he sought to comfort her. Not aware that she was currently awake, he didn’t know that his instinctive coddling was the source of her distress.

Was he doing something wrong?

Sesshoumaru continued to nuzzle her head and throat, hoping to settle the whimpers that escaped from her chest. He wasn’t entirely sure what else to do. By no means was he the standard definition of an inu-youkai male; he had never surrounded himself with pack. Humans, for that matter, were in an entirely different category as far as he was concerned.
