Chapter 340: Shameless

It was only when her cold feet reached his skin that Sesshoumaru finally turned around and met Kagome’s bright eyes and rosy cheeks. Smirking impishly, her icy toes traced the length of his calf. His leg jerked on reflex. She giggled.

“Since when have I become your bed warmer, miko?” he rumbled, his eyelids easily falling half-closed. A flash of fangs appeared between his lips as he smiled; a dangerous expression if her startled gasp was anything to go by.

“Oh, I don’t know…” she murmured softly, shyly. “Now seemed like a good time. It’s much colder here, isn’t it?”
