Chapter 328: Oh, Love of Mine

“Well,” the man smiled, “I’m fine.”

“Don’t you want children someday?”

Golden orbs glowed in the moonlight, startling Kagome with the raw emotions within. “Having a pup is not important if its mother is not you,” he admitted. “What matters is that you are happy, little human. How could I be disappointed if my heart is content?”

“Sesshoumaru-sama was opposed to that though. Y’know, with you being a `pet’ and all.”

“Ah… For lack of a better word, I’m to be your companion, whether he likes it or not. Unless, you send me away, that is.”
