Chapter 321: Grandpups?

“Your mom won’t kill me, right?”

Kazuya lightly bumped his shoulder against Kagome’s as they overlooked the night sky. They were at the zenith of the world, sitting at the edge of the floating castle. The passing clouds tickled the soles of their feet, chilling their skin.

“I’d reckon she’d be rather excited,” he said.

“Why?”

“Because after six hundred years, I finally found an interesting female and bound myself to her.” He smirked at the miko’s wide eyes and innocent flush. “Not intimately, of course. Unless…?”

Kagome laughed freely at his lascivious wink. “Nice try.”
