Chapter 315: Hers

“Compromised?” Kagome murmured quietly. Her eyes sought out Kazuya’s. “You told me you didn’t feel that way anymore.”

“His affections… You knew,” Sesshoumaru bluntly stated, masking his surprise.

The woman’s attention snapped back to him. “Of course. He’s as forward as Kouga-kun. Only…he’s not as persistent. I just assumed it was `cause of their wolf blood.” She rubbed her eyes tiredly. “But it doesn’t matter. I denied them both.”

Sesshoumaru nearly snarled at her ignorance. “Do not forget his other half. Inu-youkai are loyal to their Chosen.”

“So… I’m his?”

“No,” he growled. “He is yours.”
