Chapter 309: Awkward

Kagome clutched at the guard’s wrist. “Can you tell me what it is? Please? The last time I found weird bruises on my body, I ended up doing something embarrassing!” She blushed at Kazuya’s heated look. “It isn’t as bad as it sounds, but still! I don’t want a repeat of that, okay? Once was enough!” She pinched the back of his hand when he smirked. “Pervert!”

“Why, Kagome-sama,” he purred. “I’ve no idea what you’re suggesting, but–”

Kazuya didn’t get to finish his statement as a familiar aura flared nearby.

“Oh…! I wonder what Sesshoumaru-sama’s mad about?”
