Chapter 299: Childish Antics

Kagome turned her head and gave Sesshoumaru a cheeky grin. “No hard feelings?”

The male responded by tying her obi a little more tightly than was necessary. His pride was soothed when she yelped.

“Hey!” Kagome whined, holding her middle. “I was only playing with you!”

Sesshoumaru sniffed haughtily as he folded his arms into the long sleeves of his yukata. “This one does not play.”

Kagome snorted and rolled her eyes. “Uh-huh… So says the inu-youkai that doesn’t like to chase around his enemies before he squashes them.”

“Miko…” he growled.

“Nope! No threatening your packmate!”

A/N: Guys, I’m extremely befuddled right now. I recently found out that BOAF has gotten its first nomination. Ever. It’s currently in the running for Best Drama at the Feudal Association Awards, and I didn’t even know until…now. I’m honestly shocked…and immensely happy.
