Chapter 298: Dress to Impress

“Satomi-sama washed these, too.”

Kagome set her old outfit onto the wooden chest, along with Sesshoumaru’s regular attire. His armor, which had been set off to the side, had been thoroughly cleaned and polished as well.

“And apparently, she had these made for us. For dinner, I think.”

The miko held up a light pink yukata with a fuchsia obi and a cobalt counterpart with a black one. She admired the white lilies gracing the fabric of hers, smiling softly. Her eyes sparkled teasingly at Sesshoumaru’s miffed expression.

“I like yours, but this one’s more my size.”
