Chapter 289: Anxiety

Carefully extricating himself from Kagome’s hold, the daiyoukai used his mokomoko as a replacement. He watched her snuggle with it for a few moments before he moved to the veranda. Opening the sliding doors, he found himself face-to-face with two sets of glowing, yellow eyes.

“Ah-Un,” he greeted, running a clawed hand over their scaly snouts. The dragon rumbled happily at the attention before they glanced eagerly at the only female occupant of the room. Intrigued, Sesshoumaru canted his head and then stepped aside, figuring out their goal.

“Be careful,” he told them sternly. “Do not wake her.”
