Chapter 286: Ruckus

The next time he awoke, Sesshoumaru had almost been punched in the jaw and kneed…in a very unpleasant place. It was only due to his fast reflexes that he avoided Kagome’s fist and caught her leg. Eying the fluttering of her lids, he concluded that the woman was still unconscious, moving wildly in her sleep. Her raspy moans tickled his instincts.

The silver-haired male threw his limbs around her, caging her against him. “Kagome,” he murmured into her ear. As her thrashing continued, he bit the side of her neck–not enough to draw blood, but enough to bruise her skin.
