Chapter 285: Cuddle Buddy

A golden eye popped open at the sound of feminine giggles. Kagome sat beside him, cuddling with his mokomoko.

“Miko,” Sesshoumaru’s voice was rough with sleep…and something else. He lifted the blanket and wrapped an arm around her waist. “Return to bed.”

His chest vibrated with a low growl when she blushed prettily and dropped the great mass of fur. As she joined him on the futon, she said, “I asked your mother to clean it for you. It’s a lot softer than before!”

“Is that so?” he inquired deeply. “Thank you.”

The woman’s happy aura was contagious.
