Chapter 278: Birthday Suit

“What are you doing, Sesshoumaru-sama?” The male’s reply was a rumbling purr. Kagome tilted her head a little more when he nuzzled her neck, inhaling softly.

She didn’t know what he was searching for, but she wouldn’t complain. Though his nakedness unnerved her, she trusted him, and didn’t even flinch when his hands found purchase at her hips, pulling her closer. Knowing it would be pointless, the miko didn’t dwell on the intimacy of their current position either.

Lifting her arms, she ran her fingers through the tangles of her hair, sighing softly. She would find a comb later.
