Chapter 275: Touch

Kagome tensed when a broad hand pressed against her back, in between the valley of her shoulder blades. She felt the featherlight caress of Sesshoumaru’s claws on her skin before he reached around her and took the cloth from her clenched hands.

Tempted to snake her fingers around his striped wrist, the Shikon Miko settled for hunching over and covering her chest, hoping to preserve at least some of her modesty. Her wet hair clung to the sides of her neck, cooling her scantily-clad body. The heat of him at her back was distracting.

He was…too close. Much too close.
