Chapter 274: Surveillance

The gentle sloshing of water did nothing to soothe the newly-discovered ache in his heart. Sesshoumaru washed his own skin, back turned toward his female companion. Calloused hands roved over smooth arms and strong thighs before settling on his shoulders. The muscles were tight with stress, and a crick had formed in his neck.

When the noises ceased from Kagome’s side, he kept still, listening to her as she left the pool. The light scent of lavender teased his nose as she slipped on her panties and fumbled with the cloth of her breast bindings.

When she cursed, he moved.
