Chapter 272: Too Far

“I’m not looking… I’m not looking…” Kagome sang to herself quietly, the words sounding like a mantra. An amused rumble echoed about the steamy room. “You had better not be looking!”

“I am not,” Sesshoumaru said, his warm breath caressing her ear. He was at the other end of the pool when her surprise finally registered and she squealed.

“Sesshoumaru-sama!”

“Not so loud, miko.” He appeared at her side again. “Others will wonder about our activities.”

Kagome glared at him. “I don’t even know what’s going on!” Her expression reflected misery. “I don’t understand at all.”
