Chapter 265: Scare

“Hey, you! Get up!” Kagome nudged the unconscious man with the point of her toe, pushing him over until he rolled onto his back. The scar on his chest made her pause before she resumed her prodding. “I’m serious, you evil bastard. I’ll let Sesshoumaru-sama stab you again!”

Hearing the daiyoukai’s name, Naraku jerked awake, and his fingers latched around her ankle. Startled by the sudden movement, Kagome screamed in fright and immediately kicked him in the head, knocking him out once more.

Her foot hurt.

Sesshoumaru sighed and wiped away the moisture that had gathered in her eyes.
