Chapter 262: Emotions

Kagome glared heatedly at Satomi’s innocent smile. “Why didn’t you tell me?”

“What, little miko?”

“Oh, I don’t know… How about the fact that Sesshoumaru-sama was perfectly fine?” she snapped. Unbeknownst to her, the daiyoukai hadn’t been as well as she’d claimed; instead, he had almost lost control…several times. He wisely decided not to comment on it. “You knew I was beside myself when he was gone!”

Satomi chortled. “Yet you said nothing. Regardless, the bond of pack is as such. Though your tongue is sharp, your heart is quite loud in its endeavors, Kago-chan. Proceed with caution.”
