Satomi clapped loudly, gifting her son with a sly smirk. “Indeed. You figured it out. Though I must wonder if your sire told you?”

Sesshoumaru deadpanned. “No.”

“You saw your father?” Kagome exclaimed. Then, she turned toward Satomi, eyes narrowed. “Wait… How did you know he met Touga-sama?”

Satomi grinned. “I keep secrets, Kago-chan. Not divulge them.”

“The Meidou Stone,” Sesshoumaru muttered blandly, indicating the necklace with a tilt of his head. “It functions much like the Tenseiga and has the ability to create a portal to the Netherworld. It also,” Satomi’s expression soured, “is a spying device.”
