Chapter 260: Anger

Kagome stamped her foot. “Don’t you dare use that line again!” The woman was so furious that she didn’t even notice when tears of frustration began to leak from her eyes. “Your mother sent you on a wild goose chase, and you come back with him? What made you think that this was a good idea!?”

Sesshoumaru regarded her through half-lidded orbs, drinking in the sight of her rage.

“Kagome,” he rumbled, eyes darkening at her answering growl. Her ire was heavenly. Attractive, yet entirely inappropriate. “The dead man is not the one to be killed. Haha-ue knew this.”
