Chapter 254: Goal

With a flick of his wrist, Sesshoumaru rid Tenseiga of Naraku’s blood, slipping it into its sheath. The sword still hummed softly much to his consternation, making his ears twitch. Noisy thing.

While he did not consider himself to be a hero, Sesshoumaru didn’t think reviving the enemy was supposed to help the damsel in distress–or, in this case, Kagome. Unless…

The words of his mother came to mind: Eliminate the source… Retrieve the antidote.

“Hn.”

He never quite appreciated his father’s penchant for riddles. Satomi’s obsession with them was no different.

Like Moriko, she loved to annoy him.
