Chapter 248: Tenuous

Naraku leaned away from the Tenseiga, hoping to put some distance between them. His success was dismal at best. “If it’s all the same to you,” he gulped, glancing nervously at Sesshoumaru, “I’d rather not die again. Forever just sounds so…permanent.”

Sesshoumaru glared, voice icy in its tone. “This one cares not for your comfort, vermin. I would gladly behead you if you were not necessary.”

“For what?” the spider hanyou managed to ask. “Don’t tell me you need my assistance for something…because we all know about that incident with the human arm.”

Sesshoumaru scoffed. “Do not flatter yourself.”
