Chapter 238: Inheritance

“You are a fool,” Sesshoumaru stated.

Touga smirked. “So says the fool’s son. Come now, my boy, from whom do you think you got your best qualities?” he said. “Certainly not your mother.”

The younger male refrained from commenting, opting to direct his gaze toward the massive crater at their feet. From their vantage point at the bottom of the barren hill, he spied the form of Sou’unga.

The blade was nestled in the center of the hole, protected by the dome of a shimmering barrier. Curious, the Western Lord lifted a hand and touched it, testing its power.
