Chapter 229: Earned Reward

“Sou’unga was both a nuisance and a fool.”

“You believe everyone is a fool,” Touga pointed out. He grinned when Sesshoumaru threw him an annoyed glare. “But you’re correct. That abomination should have never existed.”

Sesshoumaru snorted. “Bakusaiga is the greater weapon.”

“Ah.” Touga eyed the sword, intrigued by the runes on its hilt and sheath. “Simply devastating, my son! And befitting for the Killing Perfection, no less!”

Said daiyoukai smiled in dark humor. “It is an extension of my arm and the product of your tests, Chichi-ue.”

“Compassion will take you far, Sesshoumaru. Remember that.”
