Chapter 228: Up to Speed

“Rin is my ward. A human child,” Sesshoumaru acknowledged. “Kagome is this one’s ally and friend of your youngest son.”

“Inuyasha?” Touga seemed to stand a little straighter as his eyes sparkled with excitement. “How does he fare?”

“He is resilient…for a being of opposing blood.” The Inu no Taisho frowned briefly, recognizing the barb for what it was. “His swordsmanship is indecent, however.”

“You didn’t teach him?”

Sesshoumaru merely stared, offering nothing in response.

Touga sighed. “I suppose sparing him was enough generosity on your part. At least you two were able to defeat Sou’unga.”
