“If you wish to remain ignorant, then so be it. But know that my curiosity hasn’t been sated, son.”

“It never has,” Sesshoumaru retorted in clipped tones. “You are still plagued by it.”

Touga bristled, looking much like his youngest pup. He ignored Kanna’s reassuring pats to his cheek. “I’ve respected your unwillingness to share your skeletons, so do not go looking for mine.”

Sesshoumaru snorted and crossed his arms. “Unlike you, Chichi-ue, my curiosity does not control me.”

Touga laughed loudly. “Stubborn boy! What was it that led you to use the Tenseiga in the first place?”
