Chapter 225: Stability

“No.”

Touga chuckled humorlessly. “Denial, denial,” he murmured. “You must have some feelings for these females. The little one, from what I understand, passed the last time she was here.”

“You will not speak of it,” Sesshoumaru bit out, not wanting to be reminded of his failure.

Rin’s second death had been the result of his selfishness and greed. Though he held a fondness for her, he knew it would lead to his downfall. His father was proof of that.

Emotions were distractions with weaknesses that lowered efficiency.

He could not afford to be swayed by such things.
