Chapter 222: Spy

Sesshoumaru allowed his suspicion to leak into his eyes. “You should know of my relationship with Kagome,” he stated, eying both his father and Kanna. “Your little charge is well-versed in her methods. I do not believe she has not already told you about our circumstances.”

Touga frowned. “If you’re referring to her reconnaissance abilities, Kanna no longer has them. She holds no such power here.”

“You lie.” A growl cut through the air. “She lies!”

“It’s the truth, pup!” Touga declared, exasperated by his son’s stubborn attitude. “Her shapeshifting is the extent of what she can do.”
