Chapter 220: Leader

“One’s pack does require protection,” Touga murmured thoughtfully. A slow smile curled at the corners of his lips, making Sesshoumaru wary. “Is that `Kagome’ girl a part of this important group?”

His response was immediate. “I am Alpha. She is of no concern of yours.”

Touga’s eyes were narrowed, calculative. “It’s still my right–my pack. Though life does not bind me, I’d like to be informed about new additions to our family.”

Youki suddenly flared around Sesshoumaru in a torrent of crimson waves. Scarlet entered his vision as he snarled, teeth gnashing together from the grinding of his jaws.
