Chapter 219: Bombshell

Little by little, Sesshoumaru’s shoulders relaxed–not by much–but just enough to show that he wasn’t going to attack the pair before him. His lips almost twitched in amusement when a sprinkle of surprise passed over his sire’s head, leaving him to gape in an undignified manner.

Taking advantage of his momentary bafflement, Sesshoumaru spoke, “You had once asked this one if he had someone to protect.”

Touga blinked slowly. “I did,” he agreed with a nod. “But you saw no value in such a thing.”

“Hn.”

“So why bring this up now?”

“This Sesshoumaru protects his pack.”
