Chapter 218: Entertainment

Sesshoumaru idly wondered if it was possible to spill his father’s blood. He imagined the life essence gushing down his throat in ruby rivulets from punctures he’d make with his claws. Through closer inspection, it appeared that Touga no longer needed to breathe, though his chest still moved subtly from habit. Considering the other man for a moment, his head tilted to the side in thought.

Could a spirit of the dead even bleed?

A lifetime ago, his hands would have itched to test out that theory, but now, it didn’t seem to be as exciting as he’d initially expected.
