Chapter 217: Cooperation

If Sesshoumaru bothered to admit it to himself, Kanna’s rapid phasing was beginning to give him a headache.

“Why?” Touga murmured when his son failed to elaborate. He frowned when Kanna huddled more closely to him. “For what purpose would you need her?”

A growl sounded in Sesshoumaru’s chest, and he scoffed.

Of course he had to go and ask… There were always questions!

Sesshoumaru bit the inside of his cheek and inclined his head when Kanna fidgeted nervously. “She knows the reason. You will relinquish her.”

“And if I don’t?” Touga challenged.

“I will destroy you.”
