“So, what brings you here, son? Surely, you still have a generous amount of years left?”

“I am neither dead nor dying,” the male responded dryly, mockingly. “Surely, you are aware of that?”

Touga grumbled under his breath about impudent pups, his smile waning. He moistened his lips with a quick swipe of his tongue. “Time passes differently here,” he told him. “I was just curious as to why you have returned when many would try their damnedest to avoid this place. And especially after that last stunt you pulled? Obliterating that behemoth of a guardian? Really, Sesshoumaru?”
