Sesshoumaru snorted. “Do you take me for a fool? She is already dead. You could not do any more to her than you could to yourself. Unless, you wielded the Tenseiga…that of which I hold ownership due to your own machinations.”

Touga rolled his eyes. His broad arms crossed over the armor of his breastplate, his nose wrinkled in displeasure. Kanna was silent beside him clutching one of his sleeves. “Keh! As blunt and charming as ever.”

Sesshoumaru was sorely tempted to take a page from his brother’s book and reply with a rude comment, but he held his tongue.
