Chapter 209: Destiny

“If I recall, you have a little girl that worships you, pup.”

Sesshoumaru glared at his father’s teasing smirk, but remained silent. He would let the elder male believe what he wanted. Their situations were not the same. He would pave his own path; his sire’s fate would not be his.

This, at least, he vowed.

Seeing how his son would not offer a response, Touga lost his smile and sighed, resting a hand on his tiny companion’s head.

“This is Kanna,” he said, and Sesshoumaru finally let loose a growl. “But I think you already knew that.”
