Chapter 208: Familiar Face

Sesshoumaru felt his eyebrow twitch as he suppressed the urge to growl outright at his great and terrible sire.

“Why are you with this…creature?” he rumbled, eying the child clinging onto his father’s hakama. Her form had changed to that of a small, colorless female with a crown of pale hair and a white dress covering her frame. Dark eyes peered at him partly in curiosity and a sliver of fear.

She flinched when recognition flickered in his gaze. Yes, the daiyoukai knew of her–and the one she had once been tied to.

But, he did not know her.
