Chapter 204: Copy

Sesshoumaru reached the height of his patience when a child stumbled into his path.

The spirit had the appearance of an eight-year-old girl, and her skin was colored with death. The rags of her clothing hung loosely on her thin frame, the bones of her hips and shoulders jutting out at sharp angles. She had a lopsided ponytail, and… a gap-toothed smile.

This doppelganger of his ward disturbed Sesshoumaru more than he cared to admit. His heart lurched in his chest before it was overcome with rage.

“You dare to wear her face, specter? This Sesshoumaru will kill you.”
