Chapter 196: Personal Space

Satomi had never expected to be assaulted by her son’s little miko.

Kagome currently had her arms around the older female, squeezing with enough pressure to make her slightly uncomfortable. When the inu-youkai realized she was receiving a human form of affection and gratitude, she relaxed her hand that had wound around the back of Kagome’s neck and patted her head, albeit stiffly.

Shaking her head at Kazuya’s tensed form, Satomi cleared her throat, relieved when the woman released her.

“You are a strange one, girl. Why are you crying?”

Sniffling softly, Kagome replied, “I’m just happy, is all.”
