Chapter 135: Sluggish

Elfin-like ears twitched as another unladylike yawn disrupted the silence.

“Miko.”

“Sorry.” Kagome grinned sheepishly. “I guess I’m still a bit tired.”

Sesshoumaru looped his arm through hers and frowned when she leaned heavily against his shoulder.

“This one will escort you back to the room.”

“No!” she said quickly, walking a little faster. “I’ll be okay after I get food in my tummy. That’s all I need, really.”

“You will rest after the morning meal.”

Kagome huffed. “Fine. But may we go outside? I’m tired of being stuck indoors.”

“Hn.”
