Chapter 113: Chase

“I think now would be a terrific time to wake up, Kagome!”

The hapless female tripped over an overgrown root, staggering forward a few steps, but somehow managed to remain upright. She continued on her mad sprint to the north…South? Left? Whichever direction she was headed in her nightmarish dream.

After she had heard that creepy voice, a gigantic spider materialized in front of her and she’d bolted. No way was she going to allow that thing to eat her. It reminded her too much of Naraku.

Kagome hissed as a stitch pierced her side.

She hated running.
